Fall Pond Netting and Maintenance
As fall begins, it is likely that leaves and other debris will fall into your pond, clogging the pump and causing leaks in the stream. It is not only unsightly to have leaves accumulate in the pond, stream, and pump, but it can also result in lower water clarity, pump failure, and plant death.
ProudPonds provides all the fall pond care and maintenance services you need to keep your pond in good shape during the fall season.
Do you want your pond to be cleaned this fall? We can help. Let's discuss your options today.
The Fall Pond Maintenance Plan includes:
Typically, this is done before the leaves turn color in early fall. In order to keep leaves out of your pond, Our pond experts install a temporary frame with a net. The net will be removed before the first heavy snowfall.
Prior to the winter season, this will allow the pond's bottom to be cleared of accumulated debris such as muck and fish waste. During the winter months, these pollutants can build up and harm or kill fish.
We can also fertilize potted plants or divide and repot them for an additional fee.
