FIRST, and most importantly, get your name on the Proud Ponds Spring Cleanout list. We service hundreds of water gardens once the ice melts, so it's best not to wait.

We’ll contact you using the information from your form to schedule a Pond Profile or give you a Cleanout quote.

To secure your spot on the calendar, you’ll need to submit your Spring Pond Cleanout deposit.

After we receive your deposit, complete the Consult Form to provide details about your pond and request a preferred day and time for your maintenance.

On cleanout day, make sure your garden hose is outside, the pumps and components are accessible, and your pond’s electrical outlet is turned on.

Proud Ponds will then drain the water while safely housing any fish. We’ll do a light pressure rinse, leaving the beneficial bio-film, trim and fertilize the aquatic plants, check and replace light fixtures, adjust rocks and gravel, and install the pump.

Once we finish, we’ll start refilling and reintroducing your fish. For larger ponds, you’ll be responsible for completing the refill and plugging in the pump. Labor estimates are based on this to help keep your cleanout cost low.
